Summary

Double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes takes on the role of teacher as she leads a Key Stage 3 class from Hampshire in an inspirational lesson of basketball.

By incorporating martial arts moves and motivational chanting to the skills training, Holmes captures the students' interest in basketball, and afterwards shares with them her personal experiences from a career in athletics.

Holmes, who began running at the age of 12 when she was encouraged by her school teacher, won the Olympic middle-distance double in 2004 and has since been appointed the UK's National School Sport Champion.

Watch in this programme as she coaches the class in the mentality needed to succeed professionally, and offers them a glimpse of her historic gold medals.
